The concept of doing right the sandwich that reared a nation is a tall order.
This was the first truck I brought my husband to, he hopped out ordered 3 different sandwiches as I drove around the block. The one that I recall the most was a brie and pear. The sandwiches were all solid and thick but we didn't care for the crust edges being too firm. Yes, we would repeat eating there but there are plenty of trucks doing a better job showcasing the food.
